Do exotic car rentals deliver to you?
Many exotic rental companies deliver to your home, hotel or the airport. Here's how delivery works, what it costs and what to ask.
Many do, to your home, hotel or even the airport. Some include delivery in the daily rate; others charge by distance or add an airport fee. Ask before you book.
Delivery is one of the best parts of renting an exotic. The car shows up where you are, and you skip the rental counter completely.
How delivery works
- You pick the car, the date and an address: your home, hotel, office or the airport.
- The company verifies your license, insurance and deposit ahead of time.
- A driver brings the car, walks around it with you and hands over the keys.
- At the end, they pick it up from wherever you are.
What delivery costs
- Included: some companies build delivery into the daily rate within their service area.
- By distance: others charge a flat fee per zone or a per-mile rate.
- After hours: late-night or early-morning handovers can cost extra.
In Chicago and Tampa Bay, for example, Valenci Supercars includes 24/7 delivery to homes, hotels and the main airports (O'Hare, Midway, TPA and PIE) in the daily rate.
Tips for a smooth delivery
- Give a precise address and a phone number you'll answer.
- At hotels, check where the car can be parked and what valet charges.
- At airports, share your flight number and agree on a meeting spot.
- Have your license and insurance card ready for the handover.
